Year One did observational drawings of ‘Alice’ themed objects and afterwards added colour and used the images to create repeated patterns. They also made 3D pocket watches using a variety of materials, used iPads as viewfinders and used the thumb pot technique to make tea pots from clay. Year Two made people from playing cards, designed ‘drink me’ labels, sketched different animals from the story and looked at the texture of flamingo feathers. Some of the work is now displayed around Prep 3-7 for parents to see during Sharing Hour. It was a very enjoyable week. 81 Arts Week Brentwood School Preparatory
