ADAM FLANAGAN MEET THE MANAGER The targets and goals I have set for this season cover many levels. The main aim is to replicate the success I had previously at Brentwood Town FC, which means delivering a team on the pitch that is challenging at the very top of the league. I will strive to develop a team that resembles the hard- working qualities of the people of Brentwood and create a culture where players see Brentwood Town FC as more than just a place where football is played and watched. For the youth set-up at the club I want our young U16s, U18s and U23s to look out on the pitch on a match day and believe that one day it could be them representing their club. Currently 25% of the squad have come through the youth set-up at BTFC and around 40% of the squad live and work around the Brentwood area. I’ll work hard to put together a strong team that has deep roots to the club and the town of Brentwood. My hope is that those in the local community can connect and easily engage with the players and that this will lead them to come and support us throughout the upcoming season. Most of all I want players to be proud and excited to be at Brentwood Town Football Club and have the same ambitions and passion for success as we do as a club. Personally, I have always felt that Brentwood Town FC has been a bit of a sleeping giant and now I believe we have a unique opportunity, with the support of a determined and driven Chairman and board, to wake this club up and power through the ranks. I think we can make some really big strides forward it’s a really exciting time to be involved or get involved with the club. I believe that if I can deliver success on the pitch, that will in turn really put the club on the map and make local residents proud, and that’s what I will be working hard to achieve.
