Brentwood School Preparatory 52 A Fly On The Wall - Year Three 3CK started off the year by celebrating their love of books by reading them in as many unusual places around the school as they could! Reading around the school As part of Year Three’s DT topic on pneumatics, the children designed their own monster and explored how to make it move using air, opening its mouth or moving a limb with a syringe. Once they had designed their monster, they used recyclable materials to create it, then used paint, feathers and ‘found’ materials to decorate it. Finally, they evaluated their own and each others’ monsters, writing comments to each other about the things they admired. Well done Year Three - you were very brave among all those monsters!
