To act, or not to act: that is the question…. The Year Five workshop production of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ provided a real opportunity for our pupils to work in a collegiate fashion with Mrs Cooke and Mrs Roberts researching and exploring the play. They then showcased their considerable acting talent and developed their confidence in performing on stage to the rest of the school and their parents. Spaghetti Towers In Science Year Five were learning about structures. We followed instructions to make spaghetti towers. We had to break marshmallows into pieces (without eating any - which was difficult!), then stick spaghetti together to make a tall tower. We had to make a strong structure to balance a marshmallow on the top. Then we measured the towers to see whose was the tallest. It was a fun activity and, even better, at the end we were allowed to eat the marshmallows! A Fly On The Wall - Year Five
