Brentwood Preparatory School Incipe 2017-18
Lion King Lion King Trip On a snowy day, Wednesday 28th February, we came to school and had registration. Then, we left for the long awaited Lion King workshop and theatre show. The coach journey was 2hr 30 mins long; once we arrived we trudged through the snow to the studio opposite the theatre. There we met the people who would be teaching us the dance moves! We then had the workshop. We learnt dance moves for the opening number, ‘The Circle of Life’.There were different groups: the wildebeest, the gazelles, the zebra and the buzzards. I was a wildebeest. We had to pretend to have a mask on and shake it around. This made us all laugh! An hour later we had our lunch and then we were told that ‘due to the bad weather we may have to go back to school,’ but we thankfully still got to see the show. I am so glad that we still went as it was the best show I had ever seen and made us really excited to perform our own Lion King later in the year. I know that this experience will remain with me forever! Thank you to the teachers for taking us and most of all not giving up in the snow!
