18 BigPitch The Stephanie Campbell Optometrist and Founder and CEO of OKKO Health Dr Stephanie Campbell is an optometrist and vision scientist, having spent 10 years in NHS Ophthalmology. She founded OKKO Health, a smartphone technology to remotely monitor vision away from clinics. This will enable remote monitoring, early diagnostics and on-time treatment, as well as creating brand new sets of big data for machine learning. She has a team of 12 scientists, developers and creatives between Bristol and London, taking the tech through R&D in the NHS and will soon launch in Germany. This is her third year as an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur. www.okkohealth.com Email: [email protected] Dr Ash Kalraiya Orthopaedic Surgeon and CEO of MediShout Ltd Ash is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has worked in the NHS for a decade. His passion for trauma and “fixing broken bones” has also taken him to work in South Africa and Malawi, where he operated as a World Orthopaedic Concern Fellow. Ash founded MediShout after witnessing hospital logistical and operational problems preventing best patient care, for example, when he had to cancel operations due to a broken theatre light bulb. MediShout solves such healthcare problems by providing the world’s first mobile App for healthcare staff to report and resolve any operational issue, with AI predicting future problems.
