Brentwood Preparatory School Magazine

Brentwood School Preparatory Jersey Trip Jersey was my favourite trip, I absolutely loved it and I shared a room with my best friend Minty that made it even better! The room was very nice too. The flight to Jersey took about 45 minutes, not very long and it was very loud on the plane with all the children chattering away. I felt sorry for the other people on the plane. We woke up at either 7:00 or 7:30 each day. We usually ate at 8:00 and then left the hotel around 9:30 then we went to different sports centres and played netball for 2 hours. The boys played football for 2 hours, they didn’t play netball! After the first session we then went to the swimming pool opposite the hotel for about 1 hour and 30 minutes and had a very funny time then we got back to the hotel and had showers then had dinner. Also in each hotel room there was either 2 to 3 people. The next day we did the same routine but instead of going swimming again we went to the zoo. Our group leader Mr Haskett was very kind and brought our group ice creams. In my group there was Scarlett, Minty, Emma, Maddy, Ellie M, Amy, Savannah and me. My favourite part in the zoo was the gorillas, they were so cute, also I loved the chimpanzees, they were very adorable and you just want to give them big hug! The next day we had a netball tournament and had to leave earlier. We came 2nd overall but we were in the final and they did a golden goal (that is the first team to shoot a goal) so we came 2nd. Then after all that sweating we went to the water park, it was so fun! There was one slide where you went down in a rubber ring and all my group all went down together but Savannah got very squished! Then it was the last day, I was so sad to go because I had such an amazing time. I couldn’t stay there forever and my parents were probably missing me so I had to go home but I will always remember the Jersey trip because it was my favourite thing ever!
