Brentwood Prep Incipe 2019

Classroom Chronicles - Nursery From the moment the excited children skip happily through the school gate, a fun filled day awaits. The Nursery children grow in independence, finding their coat peg to hang up their coats and hats before eagerly greeting their friends to play with their favourite toys. Sand, water, playdough, books, painting, home corner and computing are just a tiny selection of the activities on offer for small groups and individuals. Special music indicates when it is time to join together with the teacher to enjoy phonics, music, dancing, maths and more. After all this learning, the hungry children relish their snack of fruit and milk, and, with energy renewed, it is time to play with the vast array of outdoor equipment. 46 Brentwood School Preparatory A Day in Nursery… Tidying up and storytime draw a peaceful close to a fun packed day. Whatever the Weather! The Nursery classes became Weather Detectives and went outside to explore and investigate the sprinkling of snow in the outdoor area. They tested the depth of the snow with their fingers, observed the snow melting and listened to the scrunching sound when they stepped on it. An exciting start to the Whatever the Weather topic!
