They explored lots of different activities to learn about their living world using their senses. In the morning they went for a walk in the garden collecting petals, leaves and other interesting treasures from the ground and used their collections for sorting and making colourful bookmarks. They watched the ducks and geese with their baby goslings and spent time in the woods hunting for natural materials to make cosy nests. The children enjoyed a picnic lunch together outside and in the afternoon continued with more fun activities in the education centre before returning to school after a wonderful day in the fresh air.
