Obviously around the same time we have the Xmas Fayre, this time with a new House competition - Xmas Tree Decorating!! Wow - what an event and well, did some of the staff take it pretty seriously - professional tree decorators in a former life, that’s for sure. East students organised a Guess the Teacher (all dressed up as Santa) which was very popular - nearly as popular as Jessica Smith’s Xmas Hamper filled to the brim with chocolate. Moving through the seasons a little,West House’s Art Attack competition was another new event on the schedule and another really fun, exciting initiative. I have to add that we did win that too but also admit that we used some aeronautical equipment that could certainly be deemed illegal. The return of the traditional House events like Hockey, Football, Netball etc are on the horizon and I’m sure the ‘many’ students that participate will thoroughly enjoy playing against their peers, from their years. After a bit of a House staff reshuffle, sadly I had to give up my amazing Deputy Head of House, who transfers over to
