Although many House events had to be virtual last year we witnessed the introduction of an amazing new format of House Quiz, thanks to Mr Hitchings - the Head of Classics. East were represented by the fearsome foursome of Mayukha Rodrigo, Eleanor Whiskerd, Jess Smith and Joanna Burgess taking on all the other Houses with rigorous tests of our general knowledge. Bravely battlingWest and School in the first round, we managed to succeed, especially with Mayukha’s wide range of knowledge, proving a force too strong to be reckoned with. We eased into the final, with a strong aggregate and were pitted against the mighty South House. The fight was tough and it went down to the wire, but in the end we were victorious, Lower Sixth Quiz Champions 20/21! By Joanna Burgess As always East house enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day. It was great to see everyone come together and have some fun at the end of the year after isolating and being separated into year group bubbles. Sports day is always highly anticipated, students from all years participating and getting involved to compete.
