The Christmas Fair was a little more subdued than usual this year due to ‘you know what’ soWest House took our fair outside and managed to raise £135.88 despite the cold. Heather Young in the Lower Sixth won the Teddy Bear by correctly guessing his name (Pedro). We are an arty bunch in West House - we won the Art BAC week quiz. Participation certainly got us the win here! Well done to all of you, including staff who completed the quiz. An extra House event was put into the calendar at the last minute this year and there were some fab entries fromWest for the Snowman competition! TheWest House snowman put forward into the finals was made by Lily Blackwell. It was blue and the big ‘W’ is a beautiful touch! Well done Lily. March saw us being very successful during South House Week.West were the winners of the Just Dance competition. We also came out winners of headline event (Jem Ozkoch and GeneWatts) produced a fabulous video for the ‘Moment of Sporting Brilliance’ Now, I know nothing about football, but I was reliably informed by Mr Wright that this summed up the Trippier goal against Croatia superbly. Another 12 House Points for West. South HouseWeek hosted a tennis tournament and it was great to see full teams out for each and every year group.
