109 were more ‘popular’ than others…. Thank you to Mr Revels and Mx Astolfi in particular for volunteering (and they are not even inWest House!) We were able to raise £419 on the day for our charity, The EssexWildlife Trust. Overall; we are proud of how we did and we are very excited for next year! In total this year West House raised £554.88. It would be nice to go a little bit further next year. I apologise for not being able to include all the photos I have taken over the year - there are so many of them; as you Westies know, I like to take a few photos! Although the photo of me dressed as a piece of Tetris and Mrs Shuff as a crayon has to be a favourite (I wouldn’t recommend this outfit for trying to run fast though!). This year West House welcomed a new baby ‘Shuff’, which meant Miss Swettenham took over the Deputy Head of House role temporarily. I would like to say a huge thanks to Miss Swettenham and wish her every success in her new role as Head of North House, starting in September 2021. Mrs Shuff then returned only to find she now has to step in for Mrs Hall who is having a baby! So, while Mrs Shuff is busy being the Head of DT temporarily, Mrs Ellis will be stepping into the role of Deputy Head of House. I know that you will all welcome her with warmth and enthusiasm.
