113 After House Music we have the HouseWeeks. This is where each House has a designated week where they organise a variety of traditional and contemporary events and also raise awareness and money for their respective charities. Our selected Charity was once again the magnificent Little Haven’s Hospice. Little Havens is a hospice set in beautiful meadowland in Rayleigh, Essex. They provide incredible care for children and young people up to the age of 19 from Essex and the London surrounding boroughs who have been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition. Amelia O’Leary and our charity team took it upon themselves to go one step further this year and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work, especially Amelia. Her dedication and commitment to the charity highlights her incredibly caring and selfless personality. Our House Captain, Alfie Fursedonne, now took the reins. Alfie is a gentleman and a true success of Brentwood School. He never liked the limelight, but was our brains behindWeald and always led from the front - taking part in events outside of his comfort zone and leading by example always with a smile on his face and in the true Weald Spirit. In the opening North HouseWeek, the Howard Family’s rendition of Anchorman finished second in the Lip Sync - you stay classy Howards! It was in the House Mario Kart that we excelled, in fact in every Year Group we either won the title or finished second! James Maltby yet again produced aWeald-winning display. James has been a wonderful ambassador of Weald and I am extremely grateful for all his contributions over the years. It was the pairing of JackWebster and Isabella Nokes that stole
