135 Mrs Sharpe Ms Ward Mrs Sharpe joined the History Department in September 2015, immediately making herself an indispensable part of the team. Many students benefited from her supportive and encouraging approach and she played a key role within and beyond the classroom with particularly memorable contributions to the Year 9 Battlefields Trips and trips to Berlin. She contributed widely outside of the Department with her muchappreciated work in the Games Department with the Netball Teams and in her role as Head of Academic Enrichment. Mrs Sharpe is relocating with her family to Devon, and we wish her every success as she does so. Ms Ward was at Brentwood school for five years and was Second in Charge of the Maths Department. She was instrumental in introducing the new GCSE and A Level and set up the Analysis & Approaches IB course. She organised all of the Maths challenges and was always ready to help others. Her cheerful presence and support will be greatly missed. Ms Ward is moving back to Ireland with her family and we wish her well as she starts her new adventure.
