Brentwoodian 2021

140 Miss Shaul had an interesting experience in her time at Brentwood having to deal with remote learning and yet another lockdown. She made great efforts in the Department to help us move forward and could always be relied upon as the regular snack guru. Mr Wright brought his considerable experience to bear during his short time at Brentwood. His stories became something of a legend in the Department and he was never one to turn down a sausage roll! Mrs Aggarwal joined us in Lent 2021, just as we began another segment of Lockdown learning. She threw herself into teaching via Zoom, learning about all the innovations and techniques and taking to heart the phrase 'lifetime learning'. She was a positive presence around the Chemistry Department; her tutees benefitted from her empathetic nature, and her pupils enjoyed her calm and caring demeanour in lessons. We wish her the best in her new role. Miss Crass joined Brentwood School in January 2021 and was instantly thrown into a school educating students at home. She thrived at the School in her short time here and was able to gain a wealth of experience in such a short period of time.We were very sad to lose Miss Crass’s ‘can do’ attitude and wish her a successful teaching career. Being an Old Brentwood, I am sure we will see her again! Miss Shaul Mrs Aggarwal Miss Crass Mr Wright
