Brentwoodian 2021

A new member of the Physics Department, Mr Goldberg was inspired to enter teaching after Covid home schooling, having previously worked as a vintage audio equipment repairman. He chose Physics due to its logic and problem-solving skills and uses in wider education. His favourite food is Sushi, favourite film is Oliver and if he could have any super power it would be to have super speed. Ms Milne joins the Modern Languages Department, teaching German. She is excited to help pupils explore and learn the language of a country with a rich cultural and historical heritage. For the past eleven years Ms Milne has been living and teaching in London. She has previously been a Head of French and Head of Modern Languages, but now that she has a young daughter and has moved back to the area with her family, she will be taking up a part-time teaching role at the School. She is very pleased to be able to take up this role teaching German at Brentwood School, where she was a pupil herself. Outside of teaching, Ms Milne participates in and enjoys a vast array of hobbies and activities. She sings in a choir, plays the piano, enjoys yoga/pilates and spends time with her young daughter. Her favourite song is Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay, which she likes to listen to while eating her favourite: pistachio ice cream. If she could have a super power, it would be the ability to be able to be in more than one place at once! 145
