The Physics Department welcomes Ms Calo, who became a teacher due to her love of inspiring and motivating young people to learn about the fundamental principles and laws used to understand how our universe works. Physics stimulates curiosity, so every day there is something to learn and discover together. During her postgraduate studies, tutoring students helped her understand how much she liked to interact with children and help them learn, being so passionate about learning herself! Besides Physics Ms Calo’s main joys include doing physical exercise (i.e. swimming, running), reading novels and spending time with friends. Her favourite song is What a wonderfulWorld (Louis Armstrong ); favourite film is Schindler’s List; and, she would most like to be remembered for having contributed positively and built good relationships in her community. The Physics Department warmly welcomes Dr Gascoyne. He will also be participating in the Army Section of the CCF. Dr Gascoyne thinks that Physics is fairly mind blowing, especially trying to unravel the mysteries of the universe! He got into teaching when he took a job at a college by chance and loved it; ever since then he has been teaching. Dr Gascoyne is also an avid Youtuber and likes releasing gaming videos. One of his greatest achievements is his 65k subscribers on his hit Youtube channel - go check him out! When he isn’t Gaming, he is probably watching his favourite film which is Fight Club (but he probably shouldn’t have told you that …). 146
