47 Sevenoaks side. However, the experience gained from our journey this year will help us grow stronger next season and go further in the National Cup. Due to covid circumstances, our Senior boys’ team also advanced to the semi-final of the U18 Glanville Cup where they faced an extremely strong and experienced Sandringham School. It was an exciting battle with some very high quality matches on display. The team consisted of Reggie Edwards (Year 10), James Stanley (Year 10),Will Breeze (Year 11), Toby Jones (Year 11) and Harry Thomas (Year 12). All of the boys played with great passion and resilience but Sandringham unfortunately edged the match and advanced to the National Championships. Both U18 teams consist of pupils from a range of year groups which holds us in great stead for the years to come! Our U13 and U15 tennis teams all competed in their respective Essex Cup leagues. Our A teams competed well in Division 1 and our B and C teams all contested in Division 2.We had some excellent matches against Forest School, New Hall School and Coopers’ Coborn School. Particular successes came from the U15A girls’ and U15 boys’ B teams who both remained unbeaten throughout the season and won their leagues. We also hosted numerous mid-week and Saturday fixtures across the season which saw all of our age groups compete in a range of doubles matches against Felsted, St Edmund’s and Chigwell School.
