Brentwoodian 2021

85 School House BAC week. One of our Upper Sixth students, Sammi, came up with the wonderful idea of giving free Digital Drawing classes to other students of the School. This was a completely new initiative and summed up how we overcame Covid challenges to offer something new and exciting. Students really enjoyed learning these skills remotely from another student, who has gone to university and is currently studying animations. Also our BAC week coincided with Valentine’s Day, so we organised something extra sweet and special with originally-drawn animated roses and a range of translated poems which students could send to someone special. As we came to the end of the year, restrictions eased and we had our first and last whole school event, Track and Field day. Due to travel restrictions, not many School House students remained during the Trinity term, so the boys from Hough rose to the challenge and made us proud. A particular mention goes to Alex for breaking the record in 100 and 200 meters with 11.2 seconds, a fantastic result! Moreover, each of the boys made us extremely proud by completing multiple events and showing what School House spirit is all about.
