90 This year for Unison we performed Everybody by the Backstreet Boys and had an absolutely amazing turnout from Upper Sixth and First Year students. This year was a bit different than before, but everyone brought so much energy and enthusiasm the atmosphere was just as electric. In small groups we were the first House to use the new recording studio which was very exciting, even though it was slightly intimidating. There was some incredible dancing, and even better sign spinning, which all added up to make such an awesome performance. A big thank you to Mr Whetnall and Madame Dearmer-Decup for showing their support at both rehearsals and whilst we were recording. Overall, although we did not get the result we hoped for, we had so much fun preparing and performing that it was a truly memorable way to celebrate our final House Music. By Elizabeth Akeju, Sarah Dawe, and Emily Kinder (U6) North HouseWeek 2020 This year’s North HouseWeek saw a host of interesting and thought-provoking events, all modified and catered towards the drawbacks that COVID-19 caused. However, we managed to put on an extremely jampacked week of events, all of which were entertaining and went towards the House’s charity, Barrow Farm Riding for the Disabled. The week started off with Enrichment talks on the charity, and was followed by the five main House events for the week, including Lip Sync, House Quiz, Mario Kart, Scavenger Hunt, and, of course, a (virtual) game of House Chess. Mario Kart was yet another extremely successful and popular event which saw winners from different year groups across the Houses. Next was the virtual Scavenger Hunt, taking place via Google Forms. Although a different setup to a usual scavenger hunt, the questions and puzzles were stimulating. An exciting range of Upper
