92 ‘Movie Scene’ competition, and our two potential entries were extremely well done by Ore, Jack, Kitty, Saachi, Scott, and Matt.We scraped into 1st for House Fifa, with possession statistics the only differentiator between us and our nearest rivals. Jenson’s excellent work onWeald’s Geoguessr earned us another House point, as did the first-class performance of our various teams. Our Year 10 Quiz team was defeated in the final. Everyone enjoyed the House Football and Netball competitions that made up the end of the Lent term, with some superb results throughout. I was particularly proud of the level of participation and teamwork across all year groups - something which would come to help us a lot on Sports Day… The HouseWeeks came thick and fast in Trinity term. We made the podium in the Sporting Brilliance challenge, thanks to Felicity’s exceptional Chris Froome impression, and some magnifique commentary from Mmes Dearmer-Decup and Roast. Our Year 8 House Quiz team once again made it to the final, coming 2nd in the end, while an absolutely superb effort from all year groups resulted in a 1st place finish in House Tennis. Next, in East Week, we took 2nd place again in the Quiz, this time with our Year 7s; this set the tone for the rest of the week - silver medals all round for Tug of War, House Chess, and even Eshan’s questionable nasal flautistry in the Talent Show. Lastly, it was West Fest, and here we did ourselves very proud indeed -
