93 despite the worst finish yet in the Quiz (Lower Sixth will have to up their game for next year!), we won the final House Chess tournament, earning muchneeded points - by this time, North was in 3rd place, and holding out against a resurgent East who were only narrowly behind. Our Squash and Art Attack results were strong, keeping us on the podium into the final couple of weeks of term. Sports Day arrived at long last, and I could not be more proud of North House! Leading at the half-way point by almost one hundred clear points, we won overall in a convincing victory. There is no doubt that this win was down to two factors: firstly, some superb individual performances from people like Cynthia, Kayla, Rory, Sophie, Jess, Brooke, Jemimah and many others; but secondly, and perhaps more importantly, from the commitment that each and every Northerner showed. Our teams were significantly changed at the last second due to self-isolating athletes, yet everyone stepped up and participated, even if they were initially unsure. Our overall victory is one that belongs to every member of the House - well done! Even then, our great work did not stop there - we raised almost £800 for charity on the day due to the excellent efforts of Alice, Carlysle, Caleb, Tameem, and Rhea, among others. This last and greatest win put us into 2nd place overall - an astounding feat, given we were last in January!
