Outside of school, roughly once a month, I travel around the country chasing something: my passion - from down the road at Brands Hatch in Kent, all the way up to Knockhill in Scotland, and Anglesey in North Wales. This year I began my second season in the Junior Saloon Car Championship. The Junior Saloon Car Championship is an Automobile racing series hosted by the British Automobile Racing Club, and provides a stepping stone through motorsport for teenagers aged 14-17. Being 17, it would be my last season racing in the JSCC so I wanted to give it my all. Aside from the racing, charity is a large part of what I do related to my motorsport career. I am an ambassador for YoungMinds, a youth mental help charity, as well as the JSCC itself, who are sponsored by Teenage Cancer Trust, National Autistic Society and Chestnut Tree House. I help these charities by using what I have to their advantage, and promote myself and the charities to the general public. This year saw a host of events, from all of the race meetings which delivered a varying level of success, to Charity events which I hosted at the Crown Street Summer Fayre down the High Street and another charity event shortly after at Stubbers Adventure Centre. All of these events raise money for charity and allowme to meet new people and share my passion. MOTORSPORT 112
