This year in squash we have been extremely proud of all the efforts and successes of each and every player that has contributed to the team. We began the year with a great set of friendly matches against Epsom College, obtaining a clean sweep for each seed, with great performances from Hayley Sadler and Sahara Dhir. We replicated this in the return leg later on in the year. A couple of the younger squash players also stepped up to represent the School in their first squash fixture ever and performed incredibly well against Epsom. We also progressed through each round of the National Schools Competition, in order to receive a spot at National Finals in Nottingham. In Round 1, we played against Charterhouse and Benenden School and won convincingly with the team of Olivia Mitchell, Zoë Smithers, Achinta Kundra, Hayley Saddler and Sahara Dhir. In Round 2, we travelled hours to play against Downe House Bs and Exeter School, finishing in 2nd place, meaning we had qualified for the Finals in Nottingham along with Exeter School. For the National Schools Finals, we stayed overnight at a hotel in Nottingham near the venue so that we could be ready and well rested for a long day of squash. Our first match was closely-contested against Wycombe Abbey As, although we ended up losing after some very hardfought rallies. We then went on to win our second match convincingly, but lost our third and final match narrowly, SQUASH U17 GIRLS TEAM 122
