against Skinners’, a very strong Skinners’ side in the last 32 teams in the Country. All our focus then turned on to the County Cup and we managed to beat Bancroft’s 50-0, Sigma Sixth Form College 53-17 and Seevic College 22-12 before we played the final against Southend High School for Boys and won 47-29 to become Essex Champions. We are extremely proud of our boys and their performances during the 2021-2022 season especially in the way they played for each other with pride and passion to be crowned double Essex Champions for 15’s and 7s competition. During the 7s season we entered several tournaments. Christ Brecon was one of the 7s tournaments we took part in and at this festival we played against some of the biggest rugby-playing schools in the country, winning the Bowl competition against Colston’s school 30-14.
