strong pack and a very young and inexperienced backline. Mr Sellers’ game plan of using strong runners to break the gain line and then expose the space wide enabled us to get more wins against strong rugby schools such as Langley Park and Bishop’s Stortford High School for Boys. As well as a better drilled and more talented team the 2nd XV also had a spirit and togetherness which was vital to success. Win, lose or draw everyone would always give 100% and enjoy every minute of it. U15 Following our fantastic U14 season last year, the U15s have experienced a successful season yet again! We managed to start the season with great wins against Sutton Valence, Mill Hill, Richard Hale and Campion Schools. We were very fortunate to have a very wellbalanced side with size and power in the forwards and pace and skill in our backline. We managed to dominate some of the rugby powerhouses in the East of England. A few of our players, Isaiah Odunsi, Paul Adeniji, Henry Herbert, Samuel Davies, Jonah Miller and Nathan Killilea also represented Essex while Henry also got selected for Saracens U15 squad. In the forwards players like Harshan Gill, Marcus Hannaway, David Abraham and Toby Elliston could be considered unlikely not to find themselves in consideration for county selection, while new addition to the team, Joe Radford, is someone to keep an eye on as well in the backs. Fraser Forbes was Mr reliable and always very consistent every match. Our Highlight of the season was reaching the finals of the Essex cup but unfortunately losing against Southend High School for Boys and narrowly losing to Reading Blue Coat School 12-5 in the Natwest Cup. We would like to thank our Coaches, Mr Cappaert and Mr Castleman, for guiding us through an unbelievable season with their never-ending knowledge of the game! 140
