U12 Our opening games of the year were in a triangular tournament against Skinners’ School and Maidstone Grammar away at Skinners’; it was a tough first fixture for a new group of boys coming together for the first time in a different environment to represent our school on the sports fields. This was a great way for us as Year 7 boys to get to know our peers a bit better. Our next few fixtures were against Richard Hale, Royal Hospital, Langley Park, Bishop’s Stortford High School, Westcliff High School for Boys, Robert Clack, Bancroft’s,Campion, Dartford Grammar, London Oratory and RGS Colchester. This was a huge learning curve for our boys and a great experience to have six teams playing on a regular basis against well established rugby schools. We would like to thank all the Year 7 boys for a determined first year and, hopefully, with that attitude we can achieve better things next season. A huge thank you to all our coaches for teaching us the basic skills of the game. 143
