NORTH HOUSE As usual, the year kicked off with the annual House Music Competition. Although historically not one of North’s most successful events, the House performed excellently. Upper Sixth student, Tanay Sonawane, selected a challenging piece of music from How to Train your Dragon which was a particularly impressive spectacle. Cameron Davies expertly led the Partsong into joint 3rd place. Our best result came from the 2nd placed Unison performance of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough led by Alice Lindsay. It was so pleasing to see North pupils from Year 7 all the way up to Upper Sixth singing together and representing North House. These results culminated in 4th place for North House. I am so impressed with the talent and hard work of our House musicians. It has been another fantastic year for North House who have once again shown themselves to be enthusiastic, committed and competitive in the contest for the House Cup. 165
