NEW? In March 2022 we invited all students, parents, Old Brentwoods and staff, past and present, to give name suggestions for the new Houses. As these Houses will be around for a very long time we were seeking names befitting of such prominence, names the students can be proud of. From the 400+ name suggestions the Governors had a tough task of deciding the four names that will enter the School’s history books. Keeping with the existing theme of physical space (Weald and the compass points) the Governors chose four local parks, all of which had been suggested by a cross-section of our community - parents, students, staff and Old Brentwoods. New House Names and colours: Hampden - Orange Thorndon - Grey Merrymeade - Purple Hartswood - Jade Green The legacy and future of the Houses continues to be lived by the students, by this time next year all the Houses will have their student-designed crests and a year full of fun and comradery.
