The Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award consists of four different sections, the Expedition, Skills, Physical and Volunteering section. There are a variety of different activities that you can pick for skills, physical and volunteering. For example for this Award one of us is doing rugby for their physical, coaching rugby for their volunteering and cooking for their skill. Moreover, all participants must complete some training tasks and partake in a practice expedition and an assessed expedition for them to complete their Award. This involves being out in the countryside for a minimum of seven hours per day, mostly walking.
