To prepare for the competition all the cadets attended training sessions every Tuesday to sharpen their knowledge on theory required to have the advantage over other cadet units. Furthermore, the cadets completed a rigorous two-day training weekend that was held in Colchester. During the training period we practised a variety of tasks and honed our skills that later proved us to be one of the best Army Sections in the Brigade as our team was awarded a gold medal. IC Lewis Harknett and 2IC Sandra Laur both demonstrated impressive leadership skills. The competition was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we look forward to competing again this year.
