Soon after it was time for the annual Remembrance Day celebrations, which started with a service in school on Friday, with the creation of the drum head. Several cadets then participated in poppy selling in Sainsburys on Saturday, with the much anticipated Remembrance Parade on Sunday. All Lower and Upper Sixth Cadets took part, and it was an honour to be part of the parade. Marching into Brentwood High Street with large crowds on either side was a particularly special moment, and one that I think all cadets involved will remember for a long time. Our section was privileged to be visited by CO Phillipa Edge and Lt Co Jim Moseley (The Royal Navy’s Leaders of Sea Cadets / CCF Cadets) in November. The Section received extremely high praise, being noted as one of the 214
