Brentwoodian 2022

Daisy- Rose Ireson- Hughes (Deloris), Skye Lake (Mother superior), Katie Hackett (Sister Mary Patrick) and Jack Walker (Monsignor O’Hara). Their incredible talent and hard work was critical to the running of the show and they gave faultless performances and enlightened us to the bright future of the arts at Brentwood School. The show could not have gone ahead as it did without the sensational work of our Performing Arts faculty: thanks to all of the staff for their incredible help backstage every night keeping everyone in order, Mr Herson and his tech crew keeping everything running smoothly alongside the stage management of Alexandra Hak and the brilliant choreography of Mrs Carabache and Ms Herterich adding a suitable amount of sparkle and joy to the company numbers. A huge thanks must also go to our Assistant Director, Miss Benamri, who worked endlessly to get the nuns in tip-top shape; her support was crucial to the smooth running of the show and we are grateful to her for endless hours spent with us teaching choreography and getting us performance-ready. Our Musical Director, Mr Cooper, was nothing short of remarkable as were his band and we are, as always, tremendously grateful for all of his hard work. Of course, wemust also thank our director, Mr Bulmer, as he led us into showweek for the final time after seven years at the School. It’s safe to say that after a two-year hiatus, the Winter Musical did not disappoint and it was a sensational week and a fabulous send-off for our Upper Sixth Performing Arts students.
