and Petruchio’s relationship. Our performance as part of the Coram Shakespeare Schools Festival was spectacular, and wouldn’t have been as successful if it weren’t for our wonderful director, Mrs Hermosa, whose creative mind and innovative ideas helped to modernise a timeless piece of theatre. I thoroughly enjoyed getting the opportunity to work with new people, and the dedication shown during and outside of rehearsals from the Year 10 drama students and Mrs Hermosa helped to create an outstanding show that I feel lucky to be a part of. The entirety of the cast worked incredibly hard throughout the short period of time we had to prepare for the show, ultimately making the creative process enjoyable and extremely rewarding at the end.
