A fantastic hockey season for the U13 B team. 9 games played, 8 games won, 34 goals scored and only 4 conceded. A strong team of girls who attacked every game with a positive attitude and enthusiasm from the first whistle. Our first game of the season was against Bancrofts’. This was actually our first game together as a team, as due to Covid we were unable to play any matches during Year 7. An amazing 9-0 win was a great start to the season. The team went from strength to strength showing team work, determination and communication in every game. Our strong line of defence stopped the opposition from scoring, whilst our midfield and forwards used their skills to outwit the opposition and score. Well done to our girls who represented Brentwood in the first 11 a side game v Coopers’. A successful start to 11 a side hockey. Every player showed a huge amount of progress throughout the season which couldn’t have been done without the support of our coaches. Thank you to Miss Helsby and Miss Lake for helping us in games afternoons, training sessions and Saturday fixtures. We look forward to another successful season next year. U13B This year in the Brentwood under 13 C hockey team we have worked really hard in training and are great team players as we are always making sure that everyone is okay and feeling good. Overall this year we have won more games than we have lost which is good, We won three and lost two. We have all improved as a team and as individual players because we work hard in training.
