17 From inside the community Colchester Countryside Volunteer Rangers I would firstly like to say a huge thank you to Katie for her amazing work as Editor over the last few years and wish her well for the future. Colchester Countryside Volunteer Rangers Sadly we said goodbye to our head Ranger Sonya who had done some amazing work over many years and was an inspiration to us all. She had decided to do some travelling and New Zealand is one of the places on her list. We wish her ‘Bon Voyage’ and good luck hopefully we will meet again at some future date. Together We Grow We also said goodbye to Richard one of our wonderful team who joined about 8 years ago as a Volunteer and then joined the Management team taking over some of the garden sessions. Very difficult to sum up Richards contribution in a few words but just to say he was a wonderful person with much experience and will be missed very much.
