Mylander - Issue 101

Queen Boudica Primary School I’m really sorry to note that this will be the last edition of The Mylander - thank you to everyone involved in its publication for the warm welcome that our school community always receives. We ended the last academic year with our usual mix of exciting new opportunities, combined with excellent academic outcomes in all phases of school. Well done to everyone for a year of hard work! One of the highlights was the Year 6 production of ‘The Amazing Adventures of Superstan,’ which told of the adventures of a well meaning superhero who sported a spectacular pair of gold pants! Our Year 6 pupils really took to this production, and were unstoppable in their renditions of their favourite songs, long after the performances had finished! We were all wowed by the children’s talent and were so thrilled to share in their successes. We wish the cohort every possible success and happiness as they start their secondary phase of education. Our School Council and I were delighted to be invited to visit the new Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital, designed by Adam Frost. The hospital plays a key role in the lives of many of our families, and we greatly appreciate all that the NHS does to help us. 33 PIANO TUITION & MUSIC THEORY ALL AGES AND STANDARDS STUDENTS ENTERED FOR RSM IF REQUIRED TREVOR CORDWELL 01206 844087 Learning & Growing
