22 Churches St Michael’s Church, Mile End The Church of England has urged everyone to follow the instructions given by the Prime Minister to stay in their homes in a national effort to limit the transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Therefore, St. Michael’s Church buildings, including Myland Parish Hall and The Community Room, are not open. All services, groups, coffee mornings and other events have been suspended. Nevertheless, we are still praying and caring, and our staff can be contacted, as follows: We recognise that these are uncertain and challenging times for everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We pray for those sick with the virus; for the doctors, nurses, health workers and other care givers, and all who support them in their work; and for those who are seeking ways to combat the spread of the virus. We pray too for those impacted in other ways: bereaved; worried about loved ones; frightened and alone at home; or anxious about their jobs and businesses; and for the most vulnerable in our communities and those who care for them.
