14 Churches The Well Methodist Church As I set down these thoughts June has turned into July and prospects of life slowly returning to some version of normal have begun. There is now the hope of getting a long awaited haircut - properly protected of course, and a reduction of the recommended social distancing offers, for some, the promise of a family meal out. Businesses that have really struggled though this time may eventually be breathing a sigh of relief and we can now plan summer trips to Colchester Zoo - a lifeline for their valuable conservation work. But despite the Prime Minister’s confident assurances, we don’t yet have a plan to re-open The Well Methodist Church for Sunday worship, the risks of gathering are still too high and people’s safety must be our priority.
