Mylander - Issue 85
18 From inside the community Nature Notes Readers of these notes will know that I sometimes talk about ‘mindfulness’, that is, being aware of our surroundings while we are out walking. It is about taking time to look and appreciate what we see. I don’t think this has to always be about birds and butterflies, although as you will know I talk about these often enough. For me it is also about appreciating a landscape and thinking a little bit about it. Here is a landscape in question. This is a view from Footpath 39 that runs along the northern boundary of the Golf Course and towards the A12. To one side of the footpath stands a boundary line of oaks and I like to frame my view, and my photograph, with a piece of oak foliage.
