14 Council Reports The proportion of respondents who didn’t participate in any such community activities increased from around a quarter pre-lockdown to a third during lockdown. Transport choices Our community is large and we want tomake sure that residents can get around easily – ideally with minimal pollution and building in ‘active’ methods to help us keep healthy. Respondents were asked to indicate the two most frequently used forms of transport before the pandemic. Only 30% reported a change in transport usage in their household since COVID-19. The most popular new form of transport by far is walking, followed by car and cycling.
