Mylander Issue 87

Council Reports Developing an inclusive community can also make it easier for more residents, whatever their age or background – to play a more active role in the community. This has benefits not only in tackling issues such as social isolation, but also in encouraging more people to be physically active, which is obviously important for strengthening health and wellbeing. Currently, the survey findings are helping us; • Develop the MCC Health & Wellbeing Plan; • Informing the development of the Myland Hopper community bus service; • Review the Neighbourhood Plan; • Improve links with local stakeholders who can help deliver support / services in key areas of concern or priority (complementing the signposting); • Informing the development of MCC communications.
