Mylander Issue 87

31 From inside the community Mill Road Surgery Hello from Mill Road Surgery Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has written, emailed or just told us verbally that you think we are doing a really good job in these trying times. It really means a lot and makes those really tough times a little easier. Just a short piece from me today, any information I give may have changed by next month, so will keep it to the point and brief. A genuine message inviting you for a covid vaccine will never ask for your bank details, please ignore these messages. A few do’s and don’ts if you have been invited for a vaccine at the surgery: Do come alone if you can. Do wear short sleeves under your jumper/coat. Don’t bring your car if you are able to walk here. Don’t turn up any sooner than 5 minutes before you appointment time. Don’t come if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 10 days or have any COVID symptoms. HAVE YOU HAD COVID? Antibodies in your blood plasma may help other people suffering with COVID and could save their life. If you are interested in donating your plasma please contact 0300 123 23 23 or search donate plasma. We are extra busy with COVID vaccines but if you have been invited to make an appointment for a health check please do so. It is important that any chronic disease is monitored; we will fit you in somewhere! Here’s hoping we have a better summer and that we are able to see our friends and family.
