Mylander Issue 87
34 From inside the community St Michael’s Myland, Mother’s Union At last we may have some good news. As the rules about Lockdown are being relaxed and hopefully from June 21st, we shall be free of restrictions—we are hoping to start our regular monthly meetings on July 7th. Provided there are no setbacks we shall hold our first meeting in the Large Hall at St Michael’s Halls starting at 2.30pm. This will be a time for chatting, tea/coffee and biscuits. We will chat about how the Lockdown affected us, how we coped and anything else that comes to mind. I am sure it will be an exhilarating time for us all. Of course the work of M. U. has been carrying on here and in other parts of the world. Did you know we work in many countries helping people in their hour of need? There may be other things you don’t know about us. Why not come along to see for yourself. Our meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month starting at 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome. June Chandler M.U.
