39 Learning & Growing Myland Preschool CIC We have had a busy half-term, as we explored themes such as fairy tales, mums, Wales, Ireland, Easter, spring, England and the Earth. We celebrated St David’s Day, St Patrick’s Day and St George’s Day, as well as celebrating our mums and the world in which we live. We had a Bag2School collection and we thank everyone from the community who filled bags and brought them along. We raised £45 for preschool funds from this. We will be having another collection on Tuesday 29th June, so if you are having a sort out then please bring your bags for our collection! You can see what can be collected at BY CLICKING HERE We took part in Red Nose Day and from Monday 15th – Friday 19th March by wearing red clothes to preschool and making a donation. We raised £55.50 for Comic Relief. On Wednesday 23rd June, we will be having our Barnardo’s big toddle, where the children are sponsored to walk around the local community raising funds for Barnardo’s and pre-school as they do so. If you would like to sponsor the children as they do this, then please let us know! This will be followed by our teddy bear’s picnic in the preschool garden, (as long as the weather is kind!) We have been busy sorting out sessions for September and contacting families on our waiting list. We are pleased that we continue to be busy and look forward to welcoming new children into our setting.
