A few tips for keeping your home secure: 1. Don’t attract a thief with insecure pedal cycles or cars on display. 2. Keep side or rear gates, sheds and garages shut and securely locked. 3. Before going out or ‘turning in for the night’ lift the blinds or open the curtains and check windows and patio doors are closed, the sun may have been on the TV when it was hot, and so the curtains were drawn whilst the window was open or someone may have closed it, but did they lock it?
