Mylander Issue 98

32 Pupils in Reception performed a lovely Nativity play, and pupils in Year 2 shared their production of Christmas Around the World. Our Year 4 pupils reminded us of the story of Christmas, as they sang songs and carols at St. Michael’s Church. Well done to all our pupils for their wonderful performances, and thank you to their family members for supporting them and helping them to prepare. It was lovely to see so many families joining in. We also greatly enjoyed our first ‘Carols on the Green’ event - thank you if you were able to attend. Children, families and local residents met on the grassy area outside school to sing carols and enjoy some refreshments after school, and it was lovely. A particular thanks must go to the School Choir and Mrs. Pomeroy, and also to the group of brass players who led the music. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting this new festive event: it’s definitely one to repeat! In school, our catering team provided everyone with a delicious Christmas Lunch on Friday 15th December, which was made even more festive as we wore our Christmas jumpers. The food was amazing and everyone looked wonderful. Thank you to Monika and our fantastic cooks for such a lovely meal. It was a pleasure to meet many new prospective families last term, as we prepare for our next year’s Reception intake. If you weren’t able to visit us (but would like to) Learning & Growing
