Buses that stop outside the main doors to the hospital are 8, 84 and 84B operated by Arriva and 61, 65, 68 operated by First. Buses that stop on Turner Road outside the hospital are 80, 81 and 81A operated by Arriva. Park & Ride service: there is a bus stop on Northern Way with a pedestrian route into the hospital. By car: Coming from the A12, leave at junction 28 . Follow the signs to the hospital taking Via Urbis Romanae, Mill Road and Turner Road. The hospital is on Turner Road. Parking: Visitors may park free of charge for the first 30 minutes in the main public car park or at the drop-off point outside the hospital’s main entrance. Parking at the hospital is very limited, so please use the Park and Ride service when possible. The Park and Ride terminus is near junction 28 of the A12. Disabled parking: Disabled and self-driving renal patients can park for free. There are wheelchair access spaces by the main entrance of the PCC and in the visitors car park. If you have a blue badge you must take it to the reception and register it on the system. The reception is located near the main entrance opposite the reception desk. You WILL NOT have to do this again until your blue badge expires or you change vehicle, as the ANPR system will recognise your number plate when you visit again.
