6 | THE BIG PITCH Foreword Welcome to the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme Big Pitch event. This evening, we aim to showcase and celebrate the achievements of our Clinical Entrepreneurs over the past year and welcome our newest cohort of over 200 budding innovators. To date, the team has supported over 1,000 Clinical Entrepreneurs, including doctors, nurses, dentists, healthcare scientists, midwives, allied health professionals, pharmacists, and non-clinical staff, to develop and scale innovative solutions that address the healthcare challenges facing our society. It is remarkable and inspiring to see this diverse community of innovators, creative thinkers, and problem solvers continuing to grow and produce revolutionary ideas and solutions that can positively impact our health service. I would like to thank everyone who is involved in the programme for their great contribution to the transformation of patient care and improvement of services within the NHS.
